Here's how it works:
Let's Chat!
Reach out to Amy Jennifer Jewellery via our custom order form, email, phone, or virtual consultation to share your inspirations for the piece. We'll ask you questions about your:
Key inspirations
Budget
Preferred metal types
Gemstone preferences
At this stage, feel free to provide any inspirational images or videos of styles and details that you admire. Based on your responses, we'll outline a preliminary estimate before moving on to sketches and designs. Once the details are finalised, we'll collect a small deposit to commence sketching and personalise your design, which will be deducted from the final design quote if you decide to proceed with the order.
Choose Your Gemstone
If your jewellery design requires gemstones, you'll be presented with a selection based on your preferences discussed earlier. You'll receive high-quality photos and videos of each gemstone to get a clear understanding of its appearance. Detailed information, including measurements, origins, and pricing, will accompany each gemstone.
Design Approval
After selecting your ideal gemstone, you'll receive a series of sketches incorporating the ideas discussed. At this stage, you can choose your favourite designs or modify any aspects to your liking. Individual quotes for each design within your chosen budget will be provided. We collaborate closely with you until every aspect of the design meets your expectations and you're 100% satisfied before proceeding.
Following the selection of your preferred design, Amy Jennifer Jewellery will provide a CAD (computer-aided design) rendering of the final piece to help you visualise its proportions and see it in 3D. Once you're delighted with the design, you'll receive a final quote that can be paid in instalments. Jewellery fabrication will commence after a 50% deposit is received. The remaining 50% can be paid upon completion of the piece.
You'll receive a timeline for the creation of your jewellery. Now, simply relax and let us handle the rest!
Let's Make It!
Bespoke orders typically require 2-4 weeks from the time the design is finalized. This manufacturing process may involve 3D printing your design in wax, casting it in your chosen metal, cleaning, and polishing, setting gemstones, and hallmarking your piece at the London Assay Office.
For heirloom and remodelling orders, the work involves carefully removing gemstones from existing jewellery, thoroughly inspecting them, and cleaning them up. Traditional goldsmithing techniques will be employed to hand-fabricate pieces using your existing gold.
Throughout the entire manufacturing process, you'll be kept informed of the progress. Amy will personally update you with photos, videos, and final estimated delivery times. Upon completion, you'll receive videos and professional photographs of your jewellery before expedited shipping to your doorstep.
It's All Yours!
Amy will contact you once your piece is finished to schedule expedited shipping and invoice you for the remaining balance. Amy Jennifer Jewellery provides exquisite jewellery boxes for all their engagement rings, as well as a complimentary jewellery cleaning cloth to preserve the impeccable condition of your AJJ piece, ensuring it looks as stunning as the day you received it!
